MR Group Partners with Kedali for Wastewater Treatment Solutions

On October 22, 2019, the "2019 Global Top 500 New Energy Enterprises List" was released, and Shenzhen Kedali Industrial Co., Ltd. ranked 420th.Shenzhen Kedali Industrial Co., Ltd. was founded in 1996 and listed on the small and medium-sized board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in March 2017 (stock code: 002850), which is a R&D and manufacturing enterprise of lithium battery precision structural parts and automotive structural parts.

In the production and manufacturing process of lithium batteries for new energy vehicles, a variety of wastewater will be generated, mainly from material preparation, electrode coating, battery assembly, equipment cleaning and other links. The composition of these wastewaters is complex and may contain heavy metals, organics, acids and alkalis, and other harmful contaminants. The following are the main types of wastewater and their sources:1. Wastewater from the production of cathode materials, 2. Wastewater from the production of anode materials, 3. Electrode Coating Wastewater, 4. Electrolyte-related wastewater, 5. Battery assembly wastewater6. Other wastewater.

In China, wastewater discharge standards are jointly formulated by the state, local governments and industries, following the principle of "who pollutes, who treats" to ensure that pollutants are discharged up to standards. Comprehensive Sewage Discharge Standard (GB 8978-1996)

It is suitable for wastewater discharge in all industries (except for special industries), and is divided into three levels according to the direction of discharge:

Level 1 standard: Effluent discharged into Class III waters (e.g., drinking water sources) or marine disposal areas.

Secondary standard: sewage discharged into Class IV, V waters or municipal sewage treatment plants.

Level 3 standard: Sewage discharged into urban drainage systems without sewage treatment plants.

Main control indicators: COD (chemical oxygen demand), BOD5 (biochemical oxygen demand), SS (suspended solids), ammonia nitrogen, heavy metals (such as total chromium, hexavalent chromium, lead, cadmium), etc.
