EDI (Electrodeionization) systems combine ion exchange membranes, ion exchange resin, and an electric field to continuously produce ultra-pure water with resistivity up to 18.2 MOhm-cm without chemical regeneration. This makes EDI the preferred polishing step after RO for applications demanding the highest water purity. Our EDI modules operate at 90-95% water recovery with power consumption of 0.5-1.0 kWh/m3, offering a compact, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional mixed-bed ion exchange.
