Premium Industrial RO EDI Water System for Continuous Ultrapure Water Generation
Morui's MR-EDI-5TH ro edi water system delivers enterprise-grade ultrapure water production with exceptional performance specifications. Our advanced system combines reverse osmosis and electrodeionization technology to achieve 99.99% salt rejection rate and 55% recovery rate efficiency. Operating at 16kW/hour power consumption, this industrial-grade system produces 5 tons per hour of ultrapure water without chemical regeneration. With over 19 years of manufacturing expertise, our product meets the demanding requirements of pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and power generation industries through continuous operation and consistent water quality output.

How RO EDI Water System Technology Works?
For treating very pure water, this product is the best there is. This unique setup blends two tried-and-true technologies into a single, streamlined process.
The main barrier is the reverse osmosis stage. It takes out between 95 and 99% of the total dissolved solids, organics, and particles in your feed water. This very important first step keeps the EDI module further down the line from getting dirty or growing up.
The next step, electrodeionization, makes your water very clean. Using ion exchange resins, semi-permeable membranes, and DC electric fields, it gets rid of any remaining ionized contaminants, such as carbon dioxide, silica, and boron, which are only slightly ionized.
What makes this system superior? Unlike traditional mixed bed deionizers, our product eliminates hazardous chemical handling. You'll never need to store or handle acids and caustic chemicals for resin regeneration. The EDI module regenerates continuously using water splitting technology.

Industrial Applications
Your ro edi water system serves critical applications across multiple industries:
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing: Generate USP Grade Purified Water and Water for Injection. Our system supports buffer preparation, culture media production, and clean-in-place processes. Chemical-free operation minimizes validation risks and reduces bio-burden concerns.
Semiconductor Fabrication: Achieve parts-per-trillion purity levels for wafer rinsing and wet processing. Remove trace ionic contaminants that could damage nanometer-scale circuitry. Often serves as pretreatment for final polishing loops.
Power Generation: Protect high-pressure turbines through superior boiler feed water treatment. Minimize silica and sodium scaling on turbine blades and boiler tubes. Prevent corrosion and carryover in complex industrial environments.
System Performance Advantages
Our system consistently delivers water meeting ASTM D1193 Type I and ISO 3696 standards. You'll achieve resistivity greater than 15 MΩ·cm, often reaching 18.2 MΩ·cm.
Total Organic Carbon levels stay below 500 ppb, with UV integration achieving <50 ppb. Silica levels remain below 5 ppb consistently.
The electrochemical regeneration mechanism maintains continuous peak performance. Water splitting generates H+ and OH- ions, regenerating resin in-situ without downtime.
Your operational costs decrease significantly compared to traditional systems. Eliminate chemical purchases, neutralization requirements, and hazardous waste disposal fees.
Quality Assurance and Testing
We implement rigorous quality control throughout manufacturing and delivery:
Pre-delivery Testing: Factory Acceptance Tests simulate hydraulic loads under real operating conditions. Site Acceptance Tests verify onsite resistivity performance against your uptime requirements.
Feed Water Protection: Monitor hardness levels below 1.0 ppm and silica below 1.0 ppm. Control CO2 levels under 5 ppm to prevent anion resin exhaustion.
Continuous Monitoring: Track Silt Density Index below 1.0 and maintain free chlorine at non-detectable levels. Regular TOC analysis ensures membrane integrity.

FAQ
Q: Can the system operate intermittently?
A: Continuous operation works best for EDI performance. We recommend recirculation loops during low demand periods to maintain optimal conditions.
Q: What's the EDI module lifespan?
A: With proper RO pretreatment, EDI modules typically last 3-5 years before replacement. Some applications achieve longer service life.
Q: How do you handle high CO2 feedwater?
A: We install Membrane Degasser units between RO and EDI stages when needed. This reduces CO2 to acceptable levels below 5 ppm.
